Title: builder's cleans
Post by: prestige on September 04, 2008, 07:09:44 pm
Heya Guys,

We have been asked to do an after refurb clean on a large converted cinema site for an existing client.

We have never done a builder's clean before and I was wondering whether there are any additional regulations or insurances to worry about over and above that needed for normal day to day cleaning.

We dont need to submit a tender pack or anthing like that as the business is there if we can do it. Is it literally ok to arrive with the guys put on the hard hat and yellow jacket and get stuck in?!?

Happy Cleaning All!!

Sharon

Insurance Company must be informed at the very least.  Method Statements and Risk Assessments are an abosolute Must.

We do this type of work all the time and my submitted document is 85 pages thick.
