Hi all

Can anyone please do me a favour and do a google search check for me on 'carpet cleaning camberley' please dont click on my sponsored listing as it will cost me money.

What I am trying to figure out is why I am not listed in the map that appears on the google search page for carpet cleaning camberly. My sponsored listing appears but I dont appear on the google map on the page, does anybody no why or how i do this.

Hi Neil

You are on page 13 of the google maps, underneath the first 10 listed there is a line for more google maps, click on that and scoll through the pages.

I have got the same thing on carpet cleaning epsom. I listed myself on google maps as everyone said it was a good idea and I don't appear until page 7.

Wish I knew Neil - waste of time having it as custys are unlikely to look past the first 10.

I thought perhaps they would rotate like Yell.com ads, but they dont appear to.

Are you using google adwords?
It is a total waste of money imo!

Adwords get me all my work from the internet and works well, it works for me but do understand your points about free listings.

 I am on page one in most area's on the free listings but dont understand how the maps work, what would cause me to be on page 14 of the maps that appear on Carpet cleaning camberley.

Puzzled by how this works.

Im glad it works for you, i tried it for 6 months and barely had any enquiries at all. I have no idea why you would be on page 14 on the maps, seems a little odd ???

i think google get there lists from accessplace for the maps, that seems to be what is happening for halifax. maybe you arent listed with them?

Have you got your address the same as the search term? i.e. have google got your address as Camberley? This is essential.

I went through this 6 months ago or more, took me ages to figure it out.

It takes about a month to get on  the first page and there are no guarantees.

It would take me an age to write it, do you want me to call you tomorrow?

When you look at the map their are many other companies on the front page that do not have camberly in their address, I dont even appear on the Yateley search and yateley is my address which is listed with google.
