Hi
With your Ibc tank you have a cap on it, you drill this with a flat bit to put a plastic tap in it, the sort you can fit a hose lock connector to.
I tell you what if you send me a personal mesage with your email address I will send you some photos of how its set up.

Roy would you mail me those pics too as I am going to build my own. Many thanks.

If you are gonna put a IBC Tank in a van please consider this, take a look on www.ionicsystems.com safety
http://www.ionicsystems.com/english/html/safety.html
My advice would be to put it in a trailer if it is not crash tested.
Safety first

If you'd like me to host them so they can be posted here, email them to me, and I'll display them in the forum. Might be easier than emailing a million all over the place!

drill the red center with a flat bitt and screw in tap :)

Conect tap to pump with hose and hoselock fittings :)
Or you can use 3/8 Bsp plastic fittings :)
Connect hose from out side of pump to flow control & brush :)
I set my van so I can run 4 brushes at same time as I have installed two pumps :)
To Baffell the tank use 100mm duckting or osma under ground pipe cut into 600mm lenghts tip tank on side and slide through the top cap, and build up like a honeycomb. You will need 8 x 6 meter lenghts. :)
If now you drill two more holes in the side of tank and put 2 more taps in, one for purewater in the other to connect the overflow. :)
From any garden centre you can by these fittings 4mm irrigation conectors to hoselock. This will connect your R/O purewater to your tank. :)
The left fillter housing contains D/I resin, the middle a carbon fillter, right particulate fillter. The two white tubes on top are 2 one hundred gallon a day R/O. :)
I hope this may help if you need to know more p/m me regards all Roy ;D

Hi there,
Nice post !!
How did you fix that IBC to the van floor?
I checked out the Ionics crash test - few problems I noticed firstly there tank was fixed to the floor and the one that flies into the driver apears to have no fixings at all?
I'm looking to install a 1000ltr tank but I want to make sure its not gonna ever join me in the front seat if you know what I mean.
