Post by: LWC on August 31, 2008, 02:44:33 pm
well ive spent a whole loatta money lol. gonna show you what i started out with and where it went

this was my first van.

then sign writing

i bought it with a trolley system, and i absoulty hated it! and really did my back in, could hardly walk some nights. even relaxing was hard some nights. so i made this abortion

worked ok to be fair but not the best, especially all that hose. what was i thinking!! then ran the trolley onto the hose reel, this was ok...ish

then it statyed like this for some time

went to a 2 man setup with one on the reel and the other running backpack, this worked just fine

finally ended up with it like this, but did have 2 reels in, theres only 1 now as its setup in new van

this is how it will stay hopefully if my new guy works out

so things getting bigger and better so got my new van...heaven lol

it was ply lined in the back so first job is to rip that up!

not pleasent underneath but only much really

and a quick clean!

small setup just so i could get out init

spray job

and finished project...well almost

thats 2 years worth of my work, and it just shows how you change things to suit. ive also found out not to scrimp on buyin things, getting the cheapest isnt always the best. i havent got anythin left of the trolley system and now. and now i have an all new setup and am extremly pleased with and is a joy to work out of!!

sorry if ive bored you but im bored so i thought id share this with you

the end

This was good as it showed your evolution. How do you plan to work. Are you keeping the red van? who will work in it?

Your latest setup looks very pro. You have gone from trolley, backpack to van setup. Is van setup quicker. Im getting stuck in with my trolley and backpack now and can see the benefits of wfp. Only problem i have is wooden and aluminium windows as the results arent too good. So at moment i am swapping between wfp and ladder. Ive read a few guys on here have totally dropped windows and houses that dont suit wfp. Not sure which way to take my business whether to carry on using my different tools wfp and ladder or just drop the ones wfp doesnt suit. What would you advise mate ::)

wont tell you how much i paid, i used to work there :P

why buy snap on (at 2 - 3x more) when halfords are very good tools and still come with the life time guarantee!
