when cleaning with wfp if the windows are open is it ok just to push them closed or do they need to be shut tight?
thanks.

i just push them too if they will push, mate if they leave their windows open, dont worry about the water, what if it rained. as long as you dont directly spray in
just dont do what a friend of mine did, it was over a conserv roof and about 30ft high, he put the brush on the window and the window opened inwards whislt the water was on, he pulled the brush back and pulled the window back to with it with the brush inside lol! whilst the water was still going and his infa red button wouldntwork so he had to run back to the van...lol! good job they werent in!!

Infra red button?
Oh yes, I just push them closed if I can. The trouble is a lot of them lock up at full stretch.

used to have an on off button with an infa red alarm type fob thing used to have round his neck

That sounds like a good idea, did it work? I still haven't really found a good way of turning the water on and off when I want to.
I have tried in line taps and triggers etc but nothing works well. I find I waste a lot of water through just letting the water run when going from back to front or whatever.

Use a tap on your hip, I have been doing this for ages and it works well

I have tried this but the tap always ends up oozing a bit of water once it wears and you get a wet leg
