Companies have been working together on vans and cars or ages. Scudo, Expert, Despatch are all the same van...... Berlingo and Partner are the same van. Nissan and LDV cub are the same van........ Just different badges and variations on the interior.........

Regards
Mr H

thats one of the reasons i went for a transit as opposed to one of the above... as i had...( well still have as well)... an expert....

they hard to work on... french / german parts..... same as  vivaros/traffic/ nissan primaster... they have a mixture of different exported parts etc...

every mechanic i spoke to advised me to go for a transit.

proven reliable for donkeys years, easy to work on, parts cheap and readily available...
so i had to go with that..

though i love the style of vivaros... fast , six speed, drive like a car etc.....

i like them... but i like my new van now too. ;)

but im with you on the vivaros.. they look and drive great.

me too,, but the newer transits are really good , with lots of pulling power and , they too are a better drive... they are also slightly bigger .. and wider than vivaros.

this is soooooo tue gazza, they are the best selling van in britain....and parts are ALOT cheaper...they are also generally more reliable......they also have MUCH MUCH bigger range to suit any type of buisness.....they dwarf all the european ranges

More than likely.  My '03 Trafic needed a gearbox at 39,000 miles (about 6 weeks inside the warranty) and I've heard other stories like that too.
