Title: Ideas for Leaflet/Ad Headlines
Post by: Jim_77 on August 30, 2008, 06:45:26 pm
I've been brainstorming some ideas for the headline of an ad or leaflet.

I'm trying to create some good ones that ask a question.

Kind of like finding the itch that needs scratching, attempting to tap into a personal situation of the person who looks at it who might say "Oh yes actually that applies to me"

Examples I've been thinking of are on the subject of:

Kids gone back to school?
Family coming to stay?
Back from holiday?

I've also been trying to think of ways of using the impending doom ( ::) ) of the "credit crunch" but am very wary because it's a very popular bandwagon atm.

Anyone else got any headline questions like this they use?

the thing about using a headline to target a specific section of the community is you might also alienate the rest, who the headline is'nt targeted at  eg;...

kids back to school? now's the time the clean up the summer mess!!

this might appeal to mums of school children, but OAPs ( who are a bigger market sector)  won't be so interested.

don't be too clever, in the end its about numbers not clever headlines ;)

What about doing your normal leaflets and hand write on them ' Your neighbour asked me to drop you a line as the said you had very dirty carpets'  ;D

I agree with Mike something like

Kids have gone back to school?
Putting your home up for sale?
Renting and would like your deposit back?
Been redecorating?
Friends comming to stay?

If 'YES' to any of the above we can help..
Having your carpets cleaned can give a huge impact to the look of your rooms. Our professional carpet cleaning service cleans your carpet extracting all dirt and odours from the root of the carpet leaving your carpet clean and fresh.

??? Maybe I went on a bit
