Bought a second hand upholstery tool and it was leaking water constantly, and the plunger popped out when pump switched on. Tried new o ring but still same. Was doing a few suites so swapped out the inners of my stail tool, and tried in the upholstery tool. No prizes for guessing what happpend next........upholstery tool still the same and, now stair tool has a big drip. Both are "solutions" tools but they don`t sell spares. Anyone know whereI can buy spares. Also at the end of the plunger, there is no "mushroom" shape to hold the plunger in the valve. Anyone had any problems with these in the past.

I had a problem with my stair tool and it was a faulty olive which soloutions supplied. I have also bought the whole trigger assembly for my wand from them .

Is the spring broken?

Both springs look ok.

It's not like Solutions but it's also bad that they don't carry spares, I must admit everything I've had from there hasn't lasted long perhaps they don't make things Shaun proof.
I now go tool shopping at the big mans shop!

Have a talk with woodbridge. They seem to carry masses of spares for both handtools & wands

The brass does wear with hot solution going through it. Most stair tools don't have anti drip valves like wands so you do get a little drip off some of them. If iys bad stick a new trigger valve on it.
