Title: Been asked to clean some curtains
Post by: Paul Davidson on August 29, 2008, 12:07:50 am
Hi
I am sending out a hundred or so letters each week as part of my marketing strategy.  Its mainly for carpet cleaning with a special offer leaflet enclosed.......... '2 carpets cleaned and get a 3rd free'.

I have been sending them to hotels, b & b, care homes,  etc etc.  so i was very pleased when good sized quality local Hotel called, unfortunately she asked me if we cleaned curtains.

There are 14 pairs on 10 x 6 ish feet curtains that are very heavy, a fine cotton like material with a almost blanket like lining in the middle.  My first thought was .......no way am i getting involved with this!

Then i got to thinking about a dry curtain cleaning machine.........anybody got any ideas or advice in in-situ curtain cleaning.  I have looked online at the Sahara, is it any good? ................... anyways your opinions on curtain cleaning, or especially Dry In-situ  curatin cleaning and the equipment used or required would be appreciated.

cheers and thanks

Paul

Ok,  I agree curtains are off topic for a carpet cleaning forum, and fairly boring too ;D.......but do any of you have any experience or opinions of the Alltec Sahara?

cheers and thanks
