Title: Buying a round

Hi all i have been offered a window cleaning round. It takes approx £1200 per month working 3 weeks out of 4. Spilt 60/40 commecial/private.Would be interested in your views and value please. Would include the equipment but vehicle extra. Any help and advice most welcome.

Hi Paul.

Are the 3 working weeks 5 day ones? If they are the work is very underpriced in my opinion.

Good advice from Stan. Not sure about paying 5x though. From the figures you quote you need to be very sure of exactly what the work involves and how the said work is priced. By my reckoning if you work this round over 15 days per month at 7 hours per day you will be working for about £11 per hour before you take off your running costs. The other thing to consider is what equipment is being offered. That could make a big difference to the value of the package.

Thanks guys for all your advice. The price is £5k plus £2k for the van? Can't make my mind up. I will have to go out with the chap so i can see the work etc You have all given me something to think about Thanks
