Ive got one from Broughton and Id recommend it BUT it isnt as low to the carpet as my Sahara and it doesent have a positioning bar for upholstery. It does have three positions but none are effective for upholstery.

I think its a good idea. Its around $800 or so I'm told.
Who wants to order one to try it?

Reasonable Idea as long as it doesnt take off!! Would forcing air straight down into the carpet force moisture in this area deeper into the carpet?? Would it create sufficent air flow across large areas??
I expect it would be slightly more office paper and hanging picture friendly.

Footprits on carpet pile putting it in room, dents left by blower and prints removing it.
Surely a well placed air mover in doorway is better and easier. ::)

Mark;
These type of fans (the term : Carpet Blower makes it more acceptable I guess in our market) if I recall, are: "Oscellating" and are nothing more than a standard fan for the home. I am sure, that here in the States, the cost would be somewhere less than $100 US. This fan design is nothing unique.
As far as I am concerned, one could do exactly the samething using a fan that pivots in the middle, for about $50-60 US. I know this because we have a few in the plant.
There were a few good suggestions above given by others.
Good Fortune to all;
