I'v just purchased a mini compressor from ebay and need an airbrush.
Can anyone recommend one for leather? The compressor seems to run up to 100 psi.
I know this topic has been discussed before but perhaps by now some of you guys may have more experience and recommendations.

The Badger is generally accepted as a good little airbrush and endorsed by experienced leatherworkers
It's simple, inexpensive and easy to clear.
Make sure your product is of the right consistency. I have one as do many others. It gets used on training courses ( professional courses ) as it works.
Why you would be directed away from this board to another, when there are many experienced and professional operators on here, who will tell you what works, what's safe, what might be dangerous, or even leave you liable to very expensive claims and loss of your professional credibility I fail to understand.
Reminds me of white wooly animals in a field...........one finds a hole in the fence, rushes through , others follow, but they failed to realise the fence was there for a reason which dawned on them as they fell over the steep cliff !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are still a couple of indecisive sheep around.
If you want to find the " best man to ask " there are two who immediately come to mind. The people who need to deliver the highest standard of work, day after day, in front of groups of people, who will question everything they do. They are going to try every new tool that appears in the market and base their judgement on the results of their findings.
The two best known on here are Ben from F/C and Andy from LTT, both will give you advice based on knowledge , experience, outcomes of trials.
There are other less well known individuals and every one will base their advice on the already mentioned criteria.

Hi Carleton,
I have looked at the Badger and will definitely be getting one of these as it is as you say, well used by professionals.
Are there any others I should consider trying?
I'm well aware of the wooly animal syndrome Carleton ;D ;D ;D

Forgot to mention.... which model Badger is the one commonly used?

The Badger is one of many available, but it's the one that's accepted as capable of doing the job. Like any other, however, it can clog with product, but is easily cleared.
For bigger areas you might want a larger sprayer and again there are plenty around.
What might be worth considering, is the fact that when working on leather, you are unlikely to be working on large areas, so you may never need the larger sprayers.

will have to check the model !!!

Come on guys you 2 have been here and done it all before so leave it alone, as for the spray gun it's like saying do you like Marmite?
I use ht tp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RH-305-Airbrush-Air-Brush-Spray-Gun-Model-body-Art-Tool_W0QQitemZ360079201866QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item360079201866&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A3%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
I like the spray better, I have a Clark Wiz compressor but want a bigger one next time.
