These look like nice poles, bit pricey, but does anyone have experience of these!!
Whip, weight etc?
-
yes mate i have one ,its probably the most rigid pole ive used more so than ionics c/f, but only weighs 4kg' or less! i much preffer it to the ionics but doesnt feel as strong
i might be putting it on ebay soon as i preffer poles with a bit more whip, but on the other hand i might try and get a g/f end section for more flex

Been looking at the 57' Cobra, does anyone use one, is the weight an issue at full length?
-
ive got a feeling the 57 foot pole is about 9 kg's,but dont quote me on it
-
I use them. They say they are 7kg but add hose, gneck, brush.
fully extended they are a bit whippy, but can't fault strength and overall rigidity. They send you a 's' shaped gneck with an 18" vikan, I would try to get them to change the brush as that one is far too heavy, I got 12" vikan mono and they work well together. I've still got one from 5 years ago thats working fine. ( the previous version, heavier)

I have some shorter light weight models, what would you suggest using @ 60 ft other than cherry pickers?
-
yes it is the 57. i've NEVER had a problem with them. using them or needing to get them fixed.

What about the weight fully extended do you find it manageable?

I get on alright with it and I'm not a big bloke. you don't have too worry if a window is open you can just shut it, it will even push up the top section of a sash window with no worry of damaging it.
horses for courses at the end of the day.

Beleive me you will hurt yourself in the end using a pole like that at that height.

I know lads from the old days who have and still do use terribly heavy glass fiber rubbish daily, its what you get used to.
In the past i have used a 40ft gf for 3 days solid, i was knackered after like but its achievable!!
