You could always try a zero hour contract as in this thread www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=58438.new;topicseen#new
that may work for you.

30 days holiday ill have to comw work with you, when i was salaried i got 4 weeks off which is based on days yo work.
so if you work
5 days a week you get 20 days holiday
4 days a week you get 16 days holiday
3 days " " " 12 " "
2 days " " " 8 " "

i thought basic holidays were 15 plus bank holidays now??

i saw a program on tv where a couple of business owners had stopped paying sick pay (apparently you are not obliged) the moment they stopped the sick pay the attendance records went through the roof!!
if/when i employ i wont be offering sick pay, IMO too many people take the p**s out of their employers when they have a sniffle or its cold and wet out!
call me a slave driver but no work , no money would be my policy
