That got your attention!
I just wanted to show how wrong that statement can be!
I did all of these windows in an hour: (First clean too.. so will be quicker next time)
(They're very high, and for me to do them trad would have taken loads longer)
-
You don't get much more perfect than that building for WFPs!
-
And to think that I was unsure about going over to WFP system!
-
I have similar work and was also high and a pain trad i used to hate doing the job trad even though it was good money now i have been doing it wfp for two years now i dont mind doing it , infact its now some of my best work!!
-

Not this time.
I'll take some next time if it's more sunny.. It was just about to start raining in that one!
-
When they`ve had a couple of cleans that`ll take you 25-30 mins.
-
Mop and Srim them.
Whats up with you?
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

are they wooden? they look like they would be a pain to clean WFP, maybe iv got my tecnique all wrong on this type of window.
Any advice on getting my tecnique right on this type of window
-
I rub my hands on windows like that, there what WFP was invented for love em.It`s jobs like that when you really do make trad look slow,to say that job would be only 2-3 times faster would be lying.

that doesnt really help, on jobs like this i end up with bits of paint and milky runs, is this just me?

Maybe you need to scrub the frames for longer or use a higher flow rate

It does just depend on the windows and perhaps the paint used.
You soon get to know which are problem windows, and any that are, just do them again, and def rinse off the glass, (Which I always do anyway)
On these georgian style windows, I just make sure I really scrub scrub scrub, and then rinse thoroughly.
As for flow rate, I only use setting one on my backpack, so its about 1 Lpm

i think its all down to how well the frames are maintained if they are well painted you should have no problems older paint tends to milk, any new houses like this i always test with wet finger first ,i would not even consider taking the job on if it could not be done wfp i dont enjoy doing them traditional

so you did those windows with a flow rate of 1ltr a min with a backpack in an hour on a first clean? Hmmm good luck to you I must be getting things wrong somewhere.

Yes. They weren't too dirty, had been cleaned trad in the past. They must have used gg3 or something because they came up fine. (I checked them all afterward)
As for flow rate, I always use setting one on the b/pack.
Nowt to do with luck! ;)

Did you manage to go inside every room to check all the windows afterwards, or get the ladder out and have a good look.
Not being funny but I wouldn't even entertain a first clean on setting 1 of my backpack, I can piddle twice as quick ;D
