got a call from a mate today hes just bought a 100 gpd ro unit from ro-man everythings fine until after di theres a extra carbon filter whats all this about ? maybe mbs could help out here hes just upgraded thanks .

has he bought the one for drinking water and the last one is to get rid of the chlorine(only a guess). my 100gpd does not have one.

as far as i know, chlorine has to be removed from the water before it goes through the RO because it doesnt do the membrane any good. so i dont know what the other filter is for

the other filter is just to improve the taste its the same as the ones fitted to the back of some fridges so he can disguard it and maybe keep it for the fridge (that is if he has one of those fridges)
