i've just bought a new 18ft unger pole to replace my everyday 17ft xtel, it comes with a brush that has the splayed bristles, i cant remember if this is mono or non mono.. anyhow i havnt used one of these before and just wondering if there better for cleaning than the single bristle..... cheers

If the brush is what i'm thinking, it's a re-branded vikan flocked (are the bristles green?) & the pole may also be an xtel- re-branded again.
As for the brush, if it is a vikan flocked i realy like them. many think they're too heavy but they clean superb. Having said that, it also depends how & who has jetted them, many suppliers put the jets too close to the center of the brush which results in not enough flow at the outer edges of the brush.

sorry to state facts but its the same pole as the gxtel you have but green. the flagged bristle holds its form alot more than the mono bristle but i find that it holds dirt in the bristle more than the mono bristle

he told me its exactly the same as the xtel but you can tell just by looking apart from its green, i have used it on my house and did feel the jets were a little close so ill give it a whirl tomorow...

You can drill new holes & move the jets if you prefere them elsewhere, just block the exsisting holes up with silicone/no-nails etc. ;)
