Hi everyone long time no speek. A friend of mine is building up a portfolio of websites and is doing them at cheaper rates than normal. If anyone is intrested then email me or follow on here with your thoughts. Im not sure how well your websites have worked out for you's or if you get a return from them?

Hi Keith

My website has been up and running since I started the business in April and so far accounts for how 44% of my clients found me, which exceeds my expectations so very pleased with it so far.  And if my sales conversion rate had been better when I first started, it would probably account for even more clients! (i.e April to July conv rate = 55%, August conv rate = 92%)

Still working on search engine optimisation but met someone the other day at a networking event who is going to give me some free tips so hopefully it will only improve ;D

Hope that helps?

Cheers

Diane

Hi Julie

Like your site, its nice and simple and easy to navigate.

Might be worth you trying google adwords - I got £30 voucher to start me off free of charge and I now spend £30 per month.  I'm still refining keywords but google will do lots of free analysis and reports for you so you can keep tweaking til you get it right.  I'm meeting up with someone next week who's going to give me some free tips so when I'm more confident in what works I'll post on here so everyone can benefit :)

Also, I kept putting search terms into google and every web directory that came up on the first page I booked a free listing.

For me marketing is about finding what works, testing it in small amounts, then when you are sure its working, ramp it up to whatever your desired outcome is - i.e. if you want 10 times more customers, spend 10 times more on the right marketing!

Hope that helps

Diane
