I thought of setting up a low pressure high flow pump to provide a feed for two standard pumps. This way you can run two pumps from one series of filters and prolong resin life.
Anyone tried this setup?
Anyone know where I can get a lower pressure pump?
Would also be able to supply a pressure washer as my current one can only handle mains pressure.

What would be the advantage of putting a low pressure pump in the system?
Why would it prolong resin life?
How much water do you carry? How long could you run a pressure washer on that amount of water? Do you want to use pure in a pressure washer?

The low pressure supply is before the filters so the water going to the pressure washer would not be pure.
The advantage is only there if you have two operators working from one van with a pump each. Most guys on here seem to be one man bands so would not come accross this problem.
If you have two operators using an on-demand system then you usually need two filters in series for each pump. If you could have a low pressure pump to put the water through the filters first, then you could connect all four in series, this has the effect of extending resin life.
