Title: xtend telescopic ladders

anyone use them ? thinking about getting a set to keep in van for access over garages , screwfix sell them ?

had a rep give me a demo a few years ago,

he went up 1 storey and he was well scared,

 it was so wobbly,ti put me off getting one :o

I bought a set secondhand for getting onto flat roofs. They are too light IMO for it to be safe to step off them, unless you have someone holding them.  They are useful for other things but I wouldn't buy them again.

I was thinking of one but i looked at the bottom of one there is no grip on the feet and to me they don't look safe enough.

I bought a pair of these ladders off ebay last year. Best buy I ever made.

Very strong, robust, sturdy dont move even in high winds. I never have to climb on my van roof anymore for ladders. Keep them well oiled with WD 40 and they will last for ages.

Just one downside, they are a little heavy and I only use them for climbing over garage roofs as all of my work is WFP.

thanks does anyone have any ideas of a  ladder thats fits in the back of a small van (combo) that would allow you to gain access over a garage

The ones pictured in this post, are very secure, and have not slipped in the time ive had them, they have a unique design which you cant see clearly but the feet have nobbles on the bottom and are slightly angled which ensures you have the correct angle to work safely.

These ladders are very small when not extended and will fit in the boot of a small car so a van like the kangoo would be no problem.
