priced up a job for cleaning sofits and gutters today (upvc) a semi detached house gutter on front and on the back i quoted £50.. i have a square vikan which i dont use just wondering if this would be any good for the job and do i use any sort of detergeant first , the gutters are not really in that bad a way.. ive never priced up this type of job before so dont know weather price i quoted is right..

go for it :)
i use a car wash brush on a harris pole with tfr
then old bentley brush on wfp low pressure
clean up any crap bits with microfibre in scrim clip on harris pole

Hard work with the pole gutters.

yep arms like legs needed
stil quicker and safer once you get hang of it
takes a few to get speed :)

Hers one i done recentley and arms do ache. And as lwc said i also cleaned the sky.

looks like a goddjob m8 but i havnt got all them brushes what somebody has mentioned to use so what would be the easiest way without that stuff, do you think i should just climb?

I clean gutters with a vikan, I would try it first if not good enough, then climb to fix any issues, you might just surprise yourself ;)

I used a vikan on this job and a bucket and sponge on ladders too.
