Hey guys,
My long Xtel hybrid is starting to show its age slightly, and have been planning on getting an SLX, when funds permit. Until then, what does everyone think of the GF 21ft Xtel as a temporary measure? Is it light? Or too whippy?
-
i find all the gxtel poles very wippy. i went on a job last week using one and hated it
-
we use them all the time. they only last us about 6 months but as cheap poles go i like them, we can use the same pole for 1- 3 storys
-
It's light and whippy but ok for every day - in fact it's not too bad.
-
18ft xtel is a good pole.
Got a 21ft and it's crap, ok if you like to use your one hand to push upwards to try to take the bend out of it while you are working, too much like a banana :-[

Does anyone know the exact length of the 17 foot? Is it OK to reach normal domestic work? Can use my hybrid for the higher stuff..... tis just downstairs thats a problem, it spins like mad. LOL.

get the 21ft. if you want a cheap 17 your better off buying a harris pole! 21ft will cover all domestic work. a 17 is limited ;)
i like the bend on them. i use it to my advantage!!

sorry i'll edit that a little. pretty much most domestic work ;) i can think of a few 3 storeys with the windows set back into the roof that we have to get bigger poles out for!! ;D ;D
