Title: window cleaning work going at waitrose stores

Post by: marc on August 12, 2008, 10:39:05 pm: thanks guys the main reason for doing this is because i clean a couple of stores at the moment and i have been asked to tender for more stores i only want to keep the stores i do and would sub the other stores out i think apart from saving money they will only have one or two invoices instead of 50 to 60 part of me just wants to forget it but i have been cleaning one of there stores for over 15 years now and they are handy as its all done before 8.30am so does not affect my working day marc

I would be interested in this also, for the following areas st. neots, Warrington, Bolton, Manchester all areas, Bedford, Swindon, Leeds, Cornwall, Huntingdon, preston, blackpool, Milton Keynes, Horsham, Huddersfield, Watford, Hemel and Cambridge.
Could also take on more areas if needbe ;)

Post by: sair on August 13, 2008, 09:24:50 am: been cleaning higher level tesco windows for years just about to take on 15 more stores , all they dropped was lower level frontage, sorry that you were dropped like that, they are a hard company to maintain as there levels of health and safty and public liability demands are high

Waitrose stores are in restructure and put out for tender all there stores into regions, although the only up side is there are not many companies with the staff or infrastructure to cope with such large regions, so there will be chance for many to either keep there existing store or gain a few others the best way forward seems to be to do as many as possible

Hope you get a few more on board Marc its a good idea doing it this way

This year I was going to try to push for loads of commercial work... But after thinking about it more and more I've decided to fine tune my domestic round, which is going well.

Good domestic work = A lot less stress!

imo i dont think you can beat domestic work as well as its priced up right

I am not based in Cambridge and I do not sub out work at present, all work in areas on my site is passed on to them free of charge

Post by: ok cleaning on August 22, 2008, 05:09:41 pm: there is a bit of a compatition here boys good luck i clean tesco stores with my friend he cleans the southeast storesand we do the bigones togeather (slough)etc but as far as i know big stores dont have window cleaners they have cotract cleaners and this big cleaning companiessub the window cleaning work to smaller window cleaners for tesco it has been like that for last 10 years may be more and their cleaning conractor is TC cleaning and they dont sub any work at the moment at all
