How do you lads who do your own accounts find out what and how much you can claim as expenses for various things??
I do have an accountant but i just wana be able to work stuff out myself, he only does year end so i dont wanna wait for a shock bill when i can be keeping on top of it now, any help??

i use an accountant , have done from day 1 . they know all the ins and outs, would not have a clue how to do my own.

there must be a site or resource somewhere though that lets you know the amounts and percentages etc you are entitled to claim against tax??
