Am about to buy a VW Caravelle for personal vehicle and workhorse. Intending to make up a modular DIY setup to put in the mid section for the working week and remove it at weekends.
Is there anyone can supply leak proof joints?
Don't want to remove the luxury interior!

I know i keep going on about it but www.plasticwatertanks.co.uk lol, these tanks do not leak at all.If you don`t want to spend to much then fit your tank with John Guest fittings.

I never could find them in standard 1/2" for in vehicle reinforced hose. What hose do you use?

We have three tank set-ups on our various vehicles and all of the tank are isolated and connected to the pumps via a pro end shut-off as below:

These can be supplied in a 1/2" barb version that fits onto the 1/2" hose coming out from the tank. A 1/2" male connector then fits to the pump side hose as shown below:

This not only allows for leak free isolation of the tank and removal ability, but also allows us to 'hot-swap' pumps and outlets in moments.

How does that male end plug into the pump end then? How would that work on a DI vessel? You can't screw those male connectors in?

The male end has a 1/2" barb that connect to standard 1/2" hose which then fits to the pump.
On the DI vessel I would use the NITO 1/2" range as they are better, see this thread:
