Title: Holidays
Post by: ftp on August 07, 2008, 08:20:05 pm
I know it's a stupid question but i'm going to take a week off soon  :o So far i have been trying to work to a rigid routine of turning up exactly the same day every five weeks weather permitting. Do any of you guys work like this and if so what do you do when you take time off do you write off that week or try and double up on your return or what?

No, that's where you start when you get back from holiday!

Don't be so ridgid with your timescales; as long as you don't clean too early, your customers will be fine.

Hi ...I run a scheduled cleaning round....8 weekly...

weeks 1 to 6 are where my main money is and weeks 7 & 8 are where I put all my odds and sods work....so this is where my holiday time comes in....

Weeks 1 to 6 are more than enough for me to earn a good living and anything extra in weeks 7 & 8 are the sweetners....

This seems to be working for me....

Despite being a structured round there is no reason that you should'nt be able to reschedule every now and again...

Cheers

Dave.
