Title: Ipods and mp3's
Post by: seandyer2003 on August 03, 2008, 06:20:54 pm
Not exactly a "cleaning" topic, but my brother in law is a fellow shiner, and swears by listening to an ipod to alleviate boredom, but personally i find time flies anyway, in fact it goes too quick!! Maybe im boring?
But i dont find the need to listen to anything, besides id be worried id be slowing down or plodding because i wasnt focused..
Just wondered if any one else worked quiet or listened too music?

Use my ipod everyday...also download loads of podcasts from the BBC and even get The Archers....  ;D

I love having music or podcasts with me during the day...they really make a boring job bearable...

I used to listen to radio two, but now I listen to my iPhone. I listen to mainly podcasts (watchtower and awake mags). If I want to get a move on though I'll listen to my toprated music, I find that the music will speed me up but the podcasts may slow me sometimes.

Simon.

Jeremy Vine on Radio2 between 12 and 2pm. At 37 years old I am now officially a grumpy old argumentative man that is more like my Dad than he is! Bugger - How did that happen!! ::)

I think as a rule of thumb. The older you get the more you listen to the chat in between the music, where as younger people would probably prefer to listen to the music. I do think that music is one of the best motivaters when out working though.

Radio 4 can be just great.  Some of the comedy programmes are absolute classics IMO.  They sometimes push irreverance to new boundaries.
