can any body tell me why ther going up windows at this time of year , kev R says hes bin told its for spider eggs im not convinsed as they only look to be one line on the windows
-
Wild guess. They eat the plants, which usually lead up right up to the window, then go up the glass looking for more food I guess?
Besides, going up a smooth window is far less work then going up a brick I suspect. ;D
One of my customers painted frames are badly oxidised, and they left a white trail on the glass. :D

I found the story i was told quite convincing as you often find snails right in the top corners of the window reveal where spiders egg sacs would be. Also in nature many animals that are mostly vegetarian supplement their diets with eggs of all types when they find them ;)

I thought it was snails rather than slugs on windows.

I think its a bit of both :P

snals when thay stop thay leve a rund mark thats harder to remove

on some gable ends the slug trials go rigt up the wall
I believe this is only the SAS variety (Speed Assisted Slugs)

I can think of a couple of ol' scrubbers that would offer a similiar environment but I dont remember seeing any slugs up there ;D lice but no slugs.
