Title: can someone explain ionics website
Post by: LWC on August 03, 2008, 08:54:43 am
just looking at their site and dreaming lol

right, say i was looking at the pro 3 system 600 litre

ok so if you were to lease that on 3 years (£89.25 x 48) £4284 so obvioously interest

so now looking at the thermo pure pro 3 system (£86.62 x 48)  £4157.76, thats loads lower than the actual unit. so am i right in thinking that that price is just for the thermo pure and you pay for the system seperate? but then that still works out cheaper

I wouldn't bother with the thermo unit mate - sure they are top notch but £290 a month for 3 years!  No way, if it was me and I wanted to lease a system then I'd be on to brodex and lease one of their machines, a lot cheaper, the E650 comes with 2 pumps and 2 varistream controllers as well, instead of just one with the Ionics.

The question is have any of you ever used an ionics system? regard less of cost if you have not run a ionics system  you really do not know what you are talking about.

do them prices include fitting ? because if they dont there is little point in paying the high price IMO for a running system that will cost you more to run with no benifit.

if thats a fitted price then they are crash tested at 30 mph so that is worth the extra

in reply to pure H20

yes actually - pro5 600ltr and certainly not any better than what we run now.

costs more to run, more to buy, filters are a pain in the backside as you have to buy from ionics, flushing salt through it was a waste of time as it wasn't needed.

so yes I do know what I'm talking about thanks.

as for the thermo units no I haven't ran one of them but if nathanael jones could set his up for 300quid then I wouldn't contemplate buying from Ionics.

is your name Reuben??

You can buy ionics filters from "windowcleaningsupplies.net, 111 George Street, Edinburgh, EH2 4JN" or make your own with the old tube and a bit brain power, No my name is Anthony & not Reuben, I can only comment on Ionics as i have two off ther systems, you will notice i do not slag any other system off as i have not used any other, so i think it best if only people who have used or own an ionics system answer questions about them and those who wish they had one but spend there money on beer instead just read the thread.

P.s as for Reuben i would never deal the man again.

p.p.s alanwilson your reply was posted after mine so i was not questioning if you knew what you were talking about.
