anyone else had this, just recieved a envelope with no cheque in it!
twice this has happened to me, how could you possibly not put th cheque in it? and then send it
-
I had to go to the post office for a letter today - turned out it was a self adressed envelope with no stamp - cost me £1.20 to get my £8.00 cheque.

it used to happen to me every couple of months or so then i started writing the date under envelope and address then you know straight away who it is , instead of havin to wait a month or so until all arrears are in ,time consuming but what else can you do
-
makes collecting look good ;D ;D ;D
i could not afford to drive back round customers houses a stamp is a lot cheaper than diesel and less time consuming woulnt do it any other way and it would surprise you how many 10 and 20 pound houses post cash wrapped in paper

Maybe put your own unique written code number inside the custy envelope so you can follow it up- assiming that you do give them free envelopes_ I dont include stamps

i dont include stamps either its even worse when you get an empty env with your own stamp on it

A few times over the years, yes. Pretty funny.

Just write the custys address on the inside of the envelope under the adhesive flap.

I wondered what the PO would do, I forgot to put a stamp on one of mine this week oops, hope he notices but it is a new customer.
I always write part of the address on the back of my envelopes though unless I forget of course ::)

I had a cheque turn up this week in one of my envelopes, but the customer hadn't sealed the envelope! Turned the envelope upside down and the cheque fell out, so how it didn't fall out during the time it was in the mail I don't know.
