Title: White Fabric Suite
Post by: Joe H on August 01, 2008, 01:47:24 pm
Got a white fabric suite to do next week.

I dont like doing suites at the best of time (unless its leather)

What are you finding most effective to clean fabric

Not many will agree with this Joe, but I've had excellent results from using dry foam with the small mitt type pads. On light, or moderately soiled I don't even extract, just use white towels to remove the excess.

Before anyone jumps in..............I've been doing this on a number of regular client's suites for about six years............it cleans and it lasts !

i did a test on our suite, very light suite.
tried all sorts and the best 2 were fibre shampoo mixed with oxybrite and fibre buff extract with fib fab, and the other was, believe it or not, daz, sponged on with a fib fab rinse, would you adam an eve it.

Hi Joe,
On white and other pale colours I pre treat with micro splitter then apply chemspec Haitian cotton shampoo. Then extract using fibre and fab rinse. I find the shampoo makes a massive difference.

If its white Joe try using a mix of Prochems Oxibrite and Fiberbuff in your extraction machine.

Joe, the product I use use is an inexpensive product from a Yorkshire supplier called Chemblend.    Many years ago, I'd have used the Haitian white cotton cleaner, but I've found this product does an excellent job on many fabrics.

Ollie

You can get small tubs of Oxibrite from any hardware type store, or Cash & Carry.
