Is there no notification system if you have a post deleted?

I know they dont in China, but hey this is the UK?

Mine keep going into the 'not right' bin  :-[

It's easy to tell when they've been deleted - they're not there any more :)

Some forums have a "soft delete" whereby you can still see the thread/post is there but not access it.  I don't think this forum software does that, or else the function is turned off.

If you stop putting up links to goat porn, maybe your posts won't get deleted ;D

Fair do's if you get an email explaining.  Maybe we dont as there is no good reason for these deletions?

This wont be here for long!

I would think its time to setle down guys.

What happened 6 days ago has been and gone, sad as it was. You cant put the clock back.

Time to move on or its going to get very monotonous listening to the same thing over and over again.

There are rules to every forum - just re read them then you might know how far you can go - but if you stand on the edge you just might topple over.

Joe the problem is now we can not question what is deleted for fear of been banned well if that is the case why bother having a forum if you can not question some ones action even if it is his forum its like the boy at school taking his football home because he is not winning.
Deleting posts out of hand is not good news for this forum.

with regards Freddie

Only seems to be upsetting a couple of people enough for them to go on about it.

I was banned from two forums for expressing my personal opinion, not for insulting anyone, or saying I was more knowledgable than acknowledged experts. Just expressing my opinion.

What does that tell you about the forum owners who barred me ?

It tells you what you want to hear................

How many were banned?
How many jumped?

To my knowledge only two were actually banned, one through lack of communication and misunderstanding and one near on asking for it as a knee jerk reaction from the first.

The rest jumped.

As to fear of saying something in case you are banned, that is just plain childish, more dummies and rattles here at the moment than Mothercare  :P

WHO was banned for insulting anyone ??? or was that the real reason.
If it was just a lack of communication why keep the ban imposed and if you read Mikes post it looks like there are others he would like of the forum.
Robert / Gary no rattles or dummies just someone who has an opinion and wants to express it as do you.

Im sorry to have to tell you the Moderators are working Carpet Cleaners and have not got the time or desire to enter into a debate when they delete a post.

My phone number is easily found as is my personal; email

I would also say Doug is also easily contactable.

Many of you know Mike Halliday

The reason your posts are deleted is because asicly you want to continue to arque about a decision that was taken.

Yesterday I posted that Mike B had allowed us to publize various get togethers for the past 4 years the main diffrence about the last one was demonstrations etc were by working carpet cleaners .  In the past any talks were by Leading Companies and suppliers, which again was very brave as Express only deals with Prochem.

I was amazed that Prochem were  not at the event and I know Mike was expecting to see them there .

The Moderators allowed the Boot Camp and the new CCDO  posts without consulting with Mike and as he runs a large company is not always hands on.. .
 regarding the Forum

I am now going to lock this post.
