Title: Tap TDS gone from 38 to 85

What's going on, it nearly caught me out today, tested my water before I started and it was coming out at 19 from the DI.

When i moved to this house 3 years ago mine was 106ppm. it fell to 96ppm a little after, has been as low as 75ppm & is now about 90ppm. In 3 years i would say it's been an average of 90.

I can only dream of water with a TDS that low last time i checked mine it was about 320

in the summer time, especialy when the water is low, it is common for water companys to borrow water from another district, this may be one explaination why your tds is low,

Possibly that is it. Just down the road in Manchester their TDS is about 200.

Im in middleton manchester and mine has been 30ish since i got my wfp system 2weeks ago, didnt realise it was so low here....it means running costs are low!
