Does anyone use a varistream with microbore if so what letter do you have it on inside the box for a quick shutoff on the pump,i`ve been playing around and can only seem to get it to shutoff at about 9-10 seconds.
-
thow it a way and go a for by pass
-
That would mean using pressure switches and that`s a no no for me,to many times have i been high and dry on jobs when they`ve played up on me.The only main problem your going to get with a varistream is tuning the box with the hosereel to shut off the pump, that dosen`t stop you working.

i have a vari 3
not sure which letter but about a third of the way round (ish)
shuts off after about 8 secs
i think thats fine
100mtrs of micro
had to adjust dial couple of weeks ago when changing over to new reel for vanmount
it was set well down at the low end
that was using a 70 mtr reel
same sort of shut off time tho
-
A third of the way round from the letter A is that what your saying.
-
mine is as low as it can go to turn off at about ten seconds but i think if everything was plumbed in copper it would turn off quicker

yes cant be arsed to open it up right now and check and cant remember what scale goes up to ;D
but about a third of the way give or take
had to turn it up from B when changing the reels over as it would not switch off when connected to new reel

i think that around 10 secs is properly set up

i also think around 10 secs is about right , if you adjust it so it cuts out sooner, you will have trouble when you want to use a higher flow rate , such as first cleans and upvc conserv. roofs

Yes you will that`s right,i found by getting the pump to shut off to quickly i couldn`t get it to go much above 12 o`clock.
