Well how did you all get on today ::)
Todays round for me was 2% trad and 98% Wfp
Now I love Trad but cleaning in this heat was a nightmare :'(
The glass was so hot, marks and smears all over the place
WFP was a dream ;D It was quick they came up better than trad and they dried in no time
And on top of that I picked up some new work ;D
So tell me how did you all get on DO you like it HOT ::)
Adders Rinse And Clean

Exactly the same as you 1 house trad and all the rest WFP,as soon as the ladder came off the van my head started to sweat like someone had chucked a bucket of water over me,when poleing it was a pleasure to be at work even in the heat.
-
my legs have chafed and im walking like john wayne after being circumcised :o
-
You son of a gunnnnnn lol. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

The hot weather did that to you ;D I will pray for winter for you ;)

I hate the hot weather as i give's me a headache.
I certainly won't do traditional in the hot weather it knackers you out to much.
Even my bungalow that i usually do traditional i have done with WFP the last few weeks.
And i like a bit of breeze when i use the pole as you get a nice fine spray hit you whilst working.
I have also been using a hot water system due to my van getting so bloody hot
-
I love this heat but it's only good for chilling out in. I much prefer working in the winter and find i work much quicker then as well.
-
im same as paul .after 1 clock. head starts pounding .
-
Enjoy it while you can ;D.. come the rain and the cold starts your be moaning about that ::) ..

Did one small job this morning. Came home. Went for an hours bike ride with my 8 year old daughter. Came home, had lunch and went out for a woodland walk with the rest of the family this afternoon.
Back to wotk tomorrow.
I prefer the spring and autumn weather for working as this heat does me in. However, it's much better with WFP.

I always tell our newbies that there are only 2 perfect months per year for window cleaning....that would be May and October
-
i'm loving it. it will be winter soon enough and we'll be praying for a sunny day to cheer us up!
I find i'm too hot and knackered by about 3pm though, so bbq again for tea tonight! ;D :P

Make sure you inhale and exhale through your nose, because with wfp you tend to use different muscles, your inclined to breath in and out through your mouth, but you exhale a lot of water vapour, de hydrating yourself more quickly.
Drink plenty of water, and a hat would be a good idea, I need one, very bad headache, sweat was dripping from my nose, was that bad round here. 31c

Really sunny/hot weather can be very dangerous.
Wear a hat. Drink plenty and slap on plenty of sun block (high factor)
Heat exhaustion/stroke just hits you like a ton of bricks and very quickly. Sounds like you were on the edge of it Tim. The hat is prob the most important thing you need as well. I fly gliders and will NEVER fly without one of those silly looking floppy white hats. Even if it's cloudy when I take off. It don't take all that long for the sun to bring on the probs either.
I am not being over dramatic folks.. I would really hate to hear of one of you guys/gals collapsing and falling from a ladder or ending up badly ill. I've been there and it's very bad.

Wear a hat is important and not just a baseball cap. The sun affects your head the most and makes you feel tired or even ill.

spoke to someone near me called kelly yesterday and she says just let glynn do it all, i was fine
-
Now look at what you've all gone and done............
It's raining! :'(

Wear a hat is important and not just a baseball cap.
Some years back when we had one of those prolonged periods of heat my neck started really burning as I was only wearing a baseball type cap. I ended up putting a spare scrim over my head trailing down my back and my cap on top to keep it in place. I looked a right idiot but it did the trick in keeping the sun off my neck.
-
wear a hat/basebaal cap I have done this for years as I got real bad head aches when trad maybe I am used to it now but I am seen a lot of the times with a cap on as sunstroke is not fun to work with;) hes our caps ;) sry about the pic I was playing with Photo shop

Tilley are good. I believe they have a lifetime guarantee and will replace most of their hats if they wear out.

the best hat would be one of those the japs wore during the war. Protection for the head, forehead and neck.
