been having a look at vin plate and it sayes front axel max 750kg rear axel 970kg what size tank will it hold as i have a 250 in already but want to go bigger
any advise please old shape combo
-
Im sure the old combos could hold about 700kg - if you already carry about 200kg then add a 250kg tank then add your weight! and a few other bits that you pick up on the way - your maxed out - your van will do about 30 mph!
-
so it will not hold more than my 250 tank thats in then
-
you will be fine with a 400ltr tank.
Payload 565kg on the 1.7d
400ltr tank holds 360ltrs water plus tank weigh etc - you're fine.

your payload already includes driver and passenger and full tank of diesel so a 400 litre tank would be fine

so 400 sounds good so do i get flat or upright
