Hiyya Ya'aal,
I've hired a 6.5 HP honda powered pressure washer. It's got a 3 cylinder brass pump. I'm not sure of the manufacturer, but it's a small industrial machine.
It's got a 1505 jet fitted in an RS30 lance.
Now then. It cleans the paving slabs and block paving bricks absolutley fine - but leaves the weeds completely.
Years ago I had a small domestic machine that did the same job just as fast and stripped out the weeds with no problem.
What's going on here?
Is the machine lacking power?
Is this normal for a 1505 jet?
Would a fsc (flat surface cleaner) do a better job and strip out the weeds?
I need to know as I have a big job coming up on Weds and will need to hire an fsc if that's the route to go.

Sounds like you need a turbo nozzel, will rip the weeds.

It sounds to me like you need to invest in your own kit - 6 hp is a bit girlie even with a turbo, what happened to the one on your web site

I think I've sussed it. The nozzle is a 1505. According to a calculator I found, the correct nozzle should be an XX03 (Since the machine is about 2000 psi and 10 lpm.) XX05 is for a 3.5 - 4000 psi machine.
Is that why it appears to be under-powered? Because it's over-jetted?
If I fit a 1503 is it going to make that much difference?

according the the book its 04 nozzle you need or 1.19mm
