Be carefully using that image! The chap that owns the company (stay clean) has taken action from a window cleaner local to me for taking stuff from his website! I know I wouldn’t like it

Your best bet! Get yourself a camera and take your own photos
Update seems the above pic/post was taken down by the poster!

andy, who's the action being taken against?
-
The Window Cleaning Company, however he isnt in business anymore, Dave morris came up from cornwall to view what he had for sell! but didnt like what he saw! luck for me picked up some of his old jobs!
-
but taking legal action against some one for using a pic from your site is a bit much! surely a phone call asking them to appolagise would of done.
i surpose although i'm alot younger than most i'm a bit to 'old skool'.
-
like any other rule no action can be taken, unless you have a writen warning, against you and you ignore it, any legal protection by the owners, have to police their patent, who else will do it, sounds nice owning a patent, but you have to police it yourself,

What happen was he copied a big part of his website! Any work that you do is your work! And in law is someone copies it and you have not given them your permission then you can sue, it’s a bit like if I copied you van signage, I am sure you would not be bested pleased, from what I was told he sent Paul a solicitors letter and was given 14 days to take it down

That picture has been around for years on google images

I thought the law said if images are in the Public Domain they can be used by whoever wants to.

Are there any copyright restrictions associated with the images?

There are plenty of people using the Tucker "brush" as their logo on their vans. OK if you actually have a Tucker system, but the people I'm thinking of just picked it off the internet.
