I'm in a bit off a dilemma, I have been advertising on the spick and span website for the last 12 months , and the contract is about to expire , to be honest it's not been the best £150 spent but out of respect to this site owner I was thinking about renewing
What do you lads think

Adverising / Marketing activities must give a return to be " worthwhile ". You don't buy product out of respect for someone, unless it's a product you like and find to be suitable for the purpose.
If you have benefitted from the advertising, then it's probably worth renewing.

How many calls/emails did you get that were sound prospects?
What % of total leads completely wasted your time?
Did you get more than or equal to 1:1 ROI ?
These are the questions I would ask myself.

you lads must be really thick I was trying to put a point across

Sorry John, it's just like all your questions so wasn't sure. ;D
You have a point though ;)

There are a number of decidedly thick people on here John and a few misguided individuals, but it's usually a good place to be. Must be, by the amount of time some spend on here.
I spend a lot of time doing other things on the computer, so it's easy to pop in and out, but when I was working full time c/c I would have been either too busy or too knackered.
Your post was a bit naff. If we all went in the huff for personal rather than business reasons there would be a lot of noses on the ground !
The only supplier I ever actively took a dislike to was a guy from Cornwall, even got banned from his forum for three years, none the less I made it clear that I admired his marketing skills and some of his products.
Was invited back to the forum recently

If it don't work and you cannot fix it, walk away!
