it makes you wonder harris pole reincarnated

although i think they might be to thin as if you click on poles you will see flags on them and they are fairly bending still worth it though as trevor says to experiment with

Hey Bazzy. I need some advice here ... and you're obviously the guy as you've got three of them.

I do a couple of town houses on which my 17 foot pole is just a touch too short. I really need a 21 foot (or a touch more) pole to give me enough reach and a bit of leeway. It's straight up and down work, so rigidity isn't really much of an issue. What length of skyblue would you recommend given that the top section needs to be big enough to attach a gooseneck to?

Hi Wally..
The one in the pic is the 9m pole but time its converted is down to 6m so if you need 21 foot then go for the 10m one.

Are they easy to convert? And can the smaller ones be converted to trad poles easily?

Thanks,

Dean.

I've a few of those too,.. they're good,.. but they do wear quick IMO. (at that price who cares!)

The 10 mtr one can make (up to) a 24' pole,.. but its a bit whippy at that height.

I have mine setup clampless, so its very quick to use. They're only about a meter long collapsed, so perfect for ground floor work.

Nat.. I tried it clampless and i cant get on with it... its ok upstairs but i cant get on with it downstairs for some reason.. just hate it spinning..

I dont use the 10m one as 9m one does all my work but if i ever get any higher work then i might try it..

Jeff Brimble discovered them - he sent me one a good year a go. For low stuff, this is my favourite pole. The twist sections seem to go after a while, unless you use them like Peters where the hose holds the pole up - the "throw-up pole."

I've started using a modular pole for some of my domestic work,.. it is slower, but so nice to work with.

Peter's new "flick up" pole should be ready for sale soon, and the sections don't spin in the new design!

If the pole was a slight oval shape that will stop the spinning and then it would be a very good pole..
