Title: Carpet Cleaning Scam Busters
Post by: woodman on February 03, 2005, 05:42:49 pm
Take a look at this US site and click on carpet cleaners, all sounds very familier.

www.troubleshooterjudd.com

(Also you will note that they have the same problem with 'Irish Travellers' which was a bit surprising)

Personally  I can believe that this goes on in the land of the free.

Our main problem in this country is carpet cleaners doing a good job for less than it costs them to operate.

In my opinion.

How many carpet cleaners set up and then fail?

I bet it is more than most professions, the work in general is not rocket science, but getting the work is a lot harder than some may think to make a long and fair living, most cleaners after so long will compete by price because that is the only way they know how, forgetting how much income is needed to pay certain bills and just live is not based on sales but also how much is spent also.

This may seem bread and butter to us lot now but you can get caught up in it if you are new or stead fast in the game!
