Any advice on cleaning and pricing a new build, its 4 blocks of new build apartments, they are 4 storey(ground, 1 2 3) Got wfp but thats not going to clean silicone cement etc is it!? So priced a cherry picker hire, would that be the only way??
Also what way would you price? because at day rate i might underestimate, or per pane??
Anyone with anyone experience in these?? i have done builders cleans but never quoted or priced as it was years ago for someone alse.

Unless you want to mess about trying to do them from the inside (if you even can) then yes you will need a cherry picker but a lot of sites will have one there that you can use so I would ask them. The other thing is how many cleans. Most sites I do have a build clean, a re-clean then a sparkle (moving in clean). From experience the sparkle can be done using WFP, the others cherry picker. Also what is the outer skin is it brick or rendered? If rendered bump up the price as those renderers are messy! Per pane or day rate thats up to you but I would go down this route. Assume that there are 3 cleans, the sparkle is pretty much a standard window clean so charge your usual highest rate for window cleaning (if you usually aim for £30 per hour on domestics then base it on that) Then add 10% to it (to allow for delays (and there always is something that holds you up). For the re-clean add 25% to this and for the first build clean add 50% to this total. That way you wont be far wrong and wont end up out of pocket. Hope that helps!

yeah thats great, i didnt realise about the 3 cleans thing. thanks. The outside is brick so the mess will be just what the messy brickies have left. Thanks again.
