Dunno mate - the better half phoned hydramaster today, apparently it's an art university, obviously no students this time of year. But the room is en suite so can't be too bad - hopefully  :-\

Ooh, posh digs. Suppose I better bring some soap though cos it's compulsory to have none in the rooms - just in case the students have a fit and collapse in shock ;D

Me and The Gorgeous One will be there all week. I'll be doing the IICRC Upholstery Course with Steve Poulos (a great bloke and tutor too) and we'll both be at the Leather Course with Judy & Andy in Bodmin on the Friday.

John Gotts and his team run a superb event and are over generous with their hospitality. The "Dirty Weekend" event is not just for us but the whole of the family too. Last year, the kids were the stars, even if their parents wouldn't agree at the time:-X

We'll be staying at the Penventon Park Hotel in Redruth.

Safe and happy cleaning :)

On the AA route map it says 6 hrs and 34 mins from my house to St.Day Redruth but I did it in 5 hours with a TM in the back of my van.

Google directions tells me it is 5hrs and 3mins - but 265 miles.

Must be nearly that to Mossy's house and I did that in 4 hours.

I think these map sites assume you will be driving at 60mph all the way.

The StromMeister does it in 3 hours easy from Alvechurch, she's got a bigger tank than Billy's Green Quacker so doesn't need so many stops for go-go juice. The Gorgeous One in her SUV only needed a little over 3 hours too last year.  But it took her a lot longer to return home >:( All them grockels shouldn't be allowed down there ;)

Safe and happy riding :)

Going down with the family on the Friday and staying till Tuesday.
I spoke to John Gotts yesterday and he said he has 200 people going and 70 rooms booked so it should be a great weekend!
See you there
