Hi Guys n Girls,
I was wondering what your conversion rate is from flyers or what it should be some people say 1% some say 10% I was also wondering how many flyers I should put out a week and how often all suggestions and aqnswers would be greatly appreciated. Anyone doing flyers down in London I would love to hear your comments. Thank you in advance Now.....

Conversion rate depends on quality of leaflet & alot on quality of delivery. We paid a local delivery company £39 per thousand, they delivered 30 000 leaflets for a conversion rate of 0.05%, yes 0.05%. I have since always delivered myself, I've now done around 10 000 leaflets for a conversion rate of 4%.

Hey Clinton, its back to school for you
4% is 4 per 100, or 40 per 1000 or 400 per 10, 000 which is WOW!

As many as you can :)

I haven't dropped any leaflets for over a year now, but I was told by a Business Link expert that if you get 6 jobs from every thousand leaflets, you have done well.
We targetted a small village when we first started, dropping about 1,000 leaflets. We got a one-off job, a regular weekly job and one monthly job.
On a sunny day, I would much rather drop leaflets than scrub showers.

Obviously a lot depends on the quality and layout of the leaflet. Also how and when they are delivered. IE singular or with loads of others / delivered early week to avoid clashing with free weekly paper delivery days which clog up the passage.
