after reading the posts on "this won't do" thread all I can say is to be a good w/c you need to be able to use both IMO, its no good saying 1 is better than the other, some jobs r easier trad, some wfp, its all down to individual preferences as to which method you use. At the mo, I find wfp takes longer , but then I've recently been off 2 months so I'm having to clean frames before glass which is taking longer, also for speed I'm doing ups wfp and downstairs trad on some jobs

How many more times will this come up >:(
AAAAAARGH who cares ::)

Wether lwc is a nice, polite chap or not, he had no right to wet the windows on the bottom flat at all. If it had been my flat i would have been out like a flash too. The water running from the top windows WILL make a mess of the bottom ones & anyone who thinks it won't cos' it's still pure needs a reality check IMO. unprofessional full stop.
As for wfp vs trad, who cares, just get the money in which ever method suites best. ;)

Trad the upper floors and wfp the ground ones.
Now that really sorts out the men from the cowboys
;D ;D ;D ;D

i think the mods should start deleting any posts that slag off wfp or trad. its causing to many peeps to leave the forum!

end of the day you do which you are happy with,i will stay trad for the simple reason i live in a small terrace with nowhere to mess about making water or whatever else you do
If thats your only gripe then I would reconsider. I live in a second floor flat with nowhere to produce water. I found a way round it. Seriously there is a way round everything!

On demand systems could suit you, Personally I use static water production based at my folks house. Yes I just turn up at theirs, fill with water and off I go! I might not be able to park within 5 miles of my flat overnight (although I can have my own parking right outside) and it wouldn't make a bit of difference. Static r/o, tank in the van or if parking is really such an issue (thinking of filling time) a load of 25l containers and away you go. Where theres a will theres a way!
