hey everyone just ordered 5000 business cards, pretty simple really, just got Do you need a Window Cleaner and my freephone number on, was just wondering how many jobs you normally get if i just dropped these through the door?
thanks

My 1000 business cards cost the same as my 5000 A6 leaflets, so may be worth getting a leaflet done then you can deliver more.

I dropped about 3000,then 4 weeks later i walked out on my job so needed work fast so canvassed the areas i dropped and done well, but im finding now that im getting calls from custys that i dropped 8 weeks ago, get a map leflet drop and hi-lite all the roads you do.

Just wondering what the percentage was like of jobs to flyers. I.e. 300 jobs would be ten percent.

less then 1% of people rang but better when knocked

i bought a round not too long ago, where the bloke dropped 20,000 leaflets and with no knocking built it up to £750 per 4 weeks. the round inc shops and domestic. so i ordered 20,000 i am about thru my first 500 and have had 11 jobs, the good thing aswell is, you can price them well as they asked you. so in my opinion, leafleting really does work, after reading several posts from here, i'm going to knock a recently flyered area to see if i get an even better response.

Personally I have found that from leaflets alone in 'fresh' area's .5% as an average is a good figure...sure you may hit a little patch where that average goes throuhg the roof but .5% is the number I have found most reflects what I have recieved.
Cheers
Dave.

so many different results with leaflets , but i have to say my experience was very poor , 4000 dropped and 5 phone calls , canvassing whether you do it yourself or employ someone is far superior , and don,t forget when you drop a leaflet its just as easy to knock the door of course it takes longer , but if your lucky enough to get a call from a dropped leaflet you,ve still got to go back and price it so all in all it has to be better and cheaper to knock , regards alan
