how do you work your 2 man setups?
still planning the vivaro but waiting for my mate to come home so we can start
do you have one reel at side door and other at back, back if so what side?
ive been using partner now for over 2 years with 2 reel out of back no problem
so let me know ;)

I've just set up a Movano with two reels coming out of the back door - but they are not on the floor of the van.
When I open up the back doors there is a piece of the van structure (metal) that runs up past the lights (rear).
I have used metal screws to drill directly into the van and the reels are wall ones and so when we open the doors they pivot out at waist height and are the perfect height for reeling in.

i like the idea of having them in the roof like someone on here had the other day, would like some details on that if you can

I see now, you put the tank at the back ;)

Bit more complicated than a full van set up as we have made the rest of the van into a camper, queen size bed, sink, grill, hob. There is also a 12 kva generator under the seats behind the water tank and sitting on the tank is a diesel pressure washer. I can also get the chewing gum removal machines in the back as well.
All this with a very comfy living area, 17 inch flat screen TV and seating for 4 and slleping for 2 or 3 at a squeeze

It isn't finished, The back needs finishing - should all be finished this week. Had to get it on the road for London last week. Back in our unit to finish it

I also have a Sprinter XLWB that we bought from a chap last year. This is set up as a camper as well with the work area in the back. That one has a 1000litre system in it, Sleep 4 but would be tight. This van has a safari room on the side of it - basically a fixed awning that winds out and you add the sides onto it. This van is set up solely for pressure washing and we carry no water off site.
They are not roomy but I have tried to make them as comfortable as possible. The Movano has a 400 litre tank in it, all the bed and cushions are being done this week and a large tent will be driven up to for the Movano as additional living area.
Ultimately tring to get away from dragging a caravan through places like Marble Arch - London on a Friday lunchtime - as happened last Friday

The pivoting reels work really well and even seem to pull down the side of the van and at awkward angles. I have always been one for pulling enough hose out to get to the back of the property and then locking up over the rubber trims. So no real problem with security.

Where did you buy these reels and how much were they ?
Thanks
:)

The reels are something stupid like £15.00 each from Screwfix direct.
Order them online ad they are with you in a couple of days. We have 100 metres on each one, with room for more - if needed.
You will notice that one of them has had a weld and support piece put in. You need to cut one and turn it round or it will catch on the door.
