Title: scudo alarm

hi
sorry if post in wrong section did not know where to post . ive just bought a scudo fitted with a autowatch alarm , the alarm works but siren has been immobilised , i presume this is a feature on alarm for servicing ect. also if i set alarm then unset without turning on ignition it resets after a pre set time, if any of you have same alarm , i would be greatfull if you would tell me how to switch on siren , and disable auto arm .

I don't know about your paticular alarm, can you see the siren inside the bulkhead? If so have a look to see if its been disabled with a small key, some alarms have this facility to disable it.

hi
i can see siren in bulkhead , but no sign of any key .have looked up on the net , very good alarms by all accounts, but unable to locate any instructions

Do you have a company name for the alarm?

it is actually called an autowatch not sure on model as i cant locate the' brains ', will have another look tomorrow

The trouble is a lot of these alarms are fitted afterwards and not at the factory, some are linked to the central locking etc, have a look at the destruction manual ;D

Have a look and see if you can see anything like this tomorrow.
