I still use 8mm minibore, up to 200m sometimes, never had a problem yet.
am I missing out on what's in vogue at the moment?

I use 8mm minibore as that is what cleantech supplied me and find it good never had a problem never tried the 6mm but from what i read it is tempramental and needs to be set up correctly cant be bothered with something that wont work all the time everytime

100m minibore here, no problems. :)

I use 8mm minibore i find it so much better than microbore on my 60psi pumps

I can't vote! :'( I use algarde hose, which is only 4mm id. :)

I went from 1/2 inch to 8mm recently, and I'm loving it. I've still got plenty of flow to spare. I would maybe even go for 6mm if the pumps on my system were more accessible.
Simon.

I have 8mm on both, I do also have 6mm reels aswell
-
6mm for me and 125m of it

minibore on van mount. 5mm on WCW backpack for any inaccessible places.

That would have to be my worst nightmare, I have 10 meters of it on my backpack and it tangles on everything. It won't even pull off a dandelion.
It's very handy to have a 10 meter extension of Algarde when climbing onto balcony's though. It only weighs a fraction of the microbore that I have on my trolley hose reel

6mm and have had no probs.
Best thing I have invested in. Beats the trolley system now I have more work on board.

Hey, Dai. I thought you were a fan of the algarde hose. I only use about 10 - 15 metres, so it is ok.
