depends on money. i have a pair o ROHAN 100% waterproof walking pants, the look like pants, they feel like pants, theyre lightert than pants and ive had mine 2 years. in fact the only way to tell theyre not pants is by the tonge across the fly area and because theyre designed by walkers for mountaineers etc they have a good cut for window cleaners, i.e., knee pre bent. have look on line just google rohan outdoor clothing

all the golf pro's wear them they are exspensive but very good

i use berghaus packlite , store into there own stuff sacks , weigh very little ,clip onto belt , so all ways handy for days when sunny one minute , raining the next, they are gortex so very breathable, the only downside is they cost around £200 for coat and bottoms.

i've just had some portwest ones delivered, they feel very good quality, i guess the proof is in the pudding, £50 a set they were
